Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy
Students must maintain an overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.5 to maintain their good standing and eligibility for graduation. Should students fall below a 2.5 GPA, the faculty will review the student’s academic performance and the circumstances of their learning. This may result in a change of the student’s status to “academic probation,” which must be remediated before a student can graduate. This faculty review may also result in recommendations to the student and to faculty. A student’s failure to restore their good standing by remaining on academic probation for two 8-week terms or more may result in their dismissal from their program by the faculty.
